Food quality are the quality characteristics of food that is acceptable to consumers, which includes external factors as flavor, factors such as federal grade standards and facts of nutrition and hazardous substance.

Food quality is enforced by food safety acts and laws in all countries. Not only dietary, nutritional requirements (halal or vegetarian) and medical conditions (diabetes or allergies) are the concern, there are also sanitation requirements, such as GMP, to ensure that the food processing environment is clean and safe.

Food quality also deals with product traceability, (e.g., of ingredient and packaging suppliers), should a recall of the product be required, and labeling issues to ensure there exists correct ingredient and nutritional information.

New products are developed, quality standards are established and compliance is checked by inspection, tests and analysis in universities, research laboratories, manufacturers, food quality inspection institutes and CDC laboratories, including but not limited to sensory inspection, chemical and bacteriological analysis, the nutrition and health claims, and the utilization notice. The judgements are based on taste, health, convenience, labeling, packaging and environmental friendliness.

In good cooperation with China National Institute of Food and Fermentation Industries (Beijing), and world famous brewery industries of Tsingtao, China Resources, Budweiser, Carlsberg and Yanjing since 1990, Xutemp has successfully developed, tested and patented its technologies and equipment for food and especially brewery industries such as

1) walk-in climatic chambers and rooms for growth, culture, germination and breeding

2) baths and circulators for Carlsberg flask & pycnometer, measurement of viscosity, froth and CO2, estimate for shelf life and fermentation study

3) ovens and incubators for decontamination, drying, incubation and culture
